Curtis Hogue
Curtis Hogue has worked for over 20 years in various roles on both the buy- and sell-side covering biotechnology and pharmaceutical equities. Most recently, he founded Dune Lake Capital, a family office focused on the healthcare industry. Mr. Hogue spent almost 8 years as a senior analyst at Discovery Capital Management where he covered global healthcare stocks including US therapeutics, Japanese pharmaceuticals and European pharma & biotech. Early in his career, he worked as a research scientist and as a patent examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Hogue holds an MBA from Duke University, an MS in Biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Physics from James Madison University.

Matt Osborne ia an accomplished investor relations and finance professional with 15 years’ experience leading strategic communications, corporate affairs, and capital markets initiatives for public and private biotechnology companies (Vertex, Synageva, Voyager, Senda). Proven track record of developing and executing investor relations strategies that have successfully supported more than $2B in equity financings. Skilled in articulating complex scientific and business strategies to diverse stakeholders, including institutional investors and analysts. Brings a unique perspective from 10 years on the sell-side as a biotechnology equity analyst and associate (Lazard Capital Markets, Leerink), having launched several IPOs and providing deep insights across therapeutic areas and modalities. Adept at partnering across preclinical to commercial stages in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to enhance corporate visibility, credibility, and long-term value creation.
Dr. Rene Mora
Dr. Rene Mora advises emerging healthcare companies in matters related to corporate development, business development and financing strategies. Previously, he served as Portfolio Manager at Monashee Investment Management, where he oversaw healthcare investments in public and private companies. Prior to Monashee he was Chief Scientific Officer for Leerink Partners, where he worked with the Corporate Finance group performing due diligence related to financing transactions and mergers & acquisitions and built the MEDACorp network, the first expert network designed to provide healthcare expertise to Wall Street. Prior to joining Leerink, Dr. Mora served as Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Associate Physician and member of the Partners Asthma Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mora is a graduate of Brown University and received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an M.D. from the University of Chicago. He trained and received Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Mora has published over 30 manuscripts in medical journals and textbooks.
