Curtis Hogue has worked for over 20 years in various roles on both the buy- and sell-side covering biotechnology and pharmaceutical equities. Most recently, he founded Dune Lake Capital, a family office focused on the healthcare industry. Previously, Mr. Hogue worked as a senior analyst at Discovery Capital Management where he covered global healthcare equities including US therapeutics, Japanese pharmaceuticals and European pharma & biotech. Early in his career, he worked as a research scientist and as a patent examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Hogue holds an MBA from Duke University, an MS in Biotechnology from the Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Physics from James Madison University.

Dr. Rene Mora advises emerging healthcare companies in matters related to corporate development, business development and financing strategies. Previously, he served as Portfolio Manager at Monashee Investment Management, where he oversaw healthcare investments in public and private companies. Prior to Monashee he was Chief Scientific Officer for Leerink Partners, where he worked with the Corporate Finance group performing due diligence related to financing transactions and mergers & acquisitions and built the MEDACorp network, the first expert network designed to provide healthcare expertise to Wall Street. Prior to joining Leerink, Dr. Mora served as Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Associate Physician and member of the Partners Asthma Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mora is a graduate of Brown University and received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an M.D. from the University of Chicago. He trained and received Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Mora has published over 30 manuscripts in medical journals and textbooks.

Mark has had a 25-year Wall Street career as an investor focusing on companies engaged in mergers and acquisitions, rising to the level of Managing Director at a number of major investment banks and hedge funds including Bear Stearns, ING, and Furman Selz. At $5 billion Texas-based investment fund Carlson Capital, Mark was responsible for directing the purchase and sale of equities of companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. In addition to merger and acquisition focused opportunities, Mark has had significant responsibility for investing in manufacturing and transportation companies as well as commodity based concerns. As operator, Mark was a partner in financial technology company G2 which specializes in accounting systems for pricing and risk management derivative products for hedge funds and major brokerage firms. Additionally, he has been a principal at Peak Funding Group, an asset backed lender focusing on the residential rehabilitation real estate market. Mark holds a B.S. in Economics from the Tisch School at NYU.
